Z-E3756 Update Instructions MainSystem
Requirements
The update consists of a complete MainSystem software update, which must be run from USB data carrier. You will need:
> USB removable storage device (USB stick) with at least 2 GB storage capacity.
> A PC or notebook with Windows operating system.
Please note: Before you start, the USB stick must be formatted with FAT 32. (Right-click on USB memory device in Windows
Explorer. Select "Format" > FAT 32 > Start.
(!) The ZENEC Z-E3756 restarts several times during the software update and stays off, among other things, for a few
seconds (black screen for approx. 10 ~ 15 sec.) before the device restarts. Please do not operate or switch off the device
during the update process.
Installation of the MainSystem software update via USB:
The MainSystem software can be found at: www.zenec.com> Support> Software Updates> FIAT> Z-E3756

1. Download the Software Update “v1.7.7 "Z-E37567_FEU_v1.7.7.exe".
2. The software package is a self-unzipping executable. Start extraction with a double-click and select your USB stick as target
for the uncompressed fi les.
3. You obtain two fi les called „ swupdate_6529B_20190305 and ZENBOOTL2180817.con” in the root directory of the USB stick
4. Connect the USB stick to the Z-E3756 USB connection cable.
5. Go to the device menu:
Settings > System > Software Update and confi rm by tapping on the green hook checkbox.
Tap on the green hook checkbox again, in the "Software Update?" pop-up window.

MainSystem Software Update Installation

Download and Prepare Software

Download the MainSystem software update package and installation instructions. Extract files to a FAT32 formatted USB stick.

Initiate Software Update

Connect the USB stick to the device and navigate to Settings > System > Software Update to begin the installation.

Update Process and Device Behavior

The update installs sequentially, may restart the device multiple times, and takes approximately 4-5 minutes.

Post-Update Factory Load

After the update, optionally load factory settings via Settings > System > Load Factory and follow prompts.

Post-Update Configuration

Language Setting Adjustment

After update, change the system language from English to your preference via Setup > Misc > OSD Language.

Version Verification

Check the installed MainSystem software version in Settings > System > Software Version Information.

Navigation Software Update

Update navigation software separately for TMC function. Install manually if version is older than Oct 13, 2018.
