Mini Glossary
STEREO SOUND Stereo (stereophonic) sound refers to audio that’s divided into right and left sides.
MONO SOUND Mono (monaural) sound is one channel of sound. On more than one speaker, all
the speakers play the same audio.
CUSTOM Customizes audio menu settings.
PRESET Resets audio menu values to their original settings.
Audio Menu: Digital Audio Language Selection
Use the AUDIO button to select digital audio languages, if available
Indicates the broadcast has additional
audio languages available.
Note: The broadcaster has control of
any additional languages available. If
a program display shows another lan-
guage is being broadcast, press the
AUDIO button to select that audio. If
however, no other language is being
included on the program’s signal, no
other audio will be heard. This con-
dition is not the fault of the TV. If no
other language is being broadcast, the
TV can’t play it. To hear audio, you
must select an active language.
On the remote, press AUDIO repeated-
ly to scroll the available digital audio
languages on the selected channel.
As mentioned above, even though there is another
language indicated as being available, if it is not
being added to the audio signal by the broadcast-
er, no audio will be heard for that additional lan-
guage.
