Thiscapacitorprovides suppressionof transientson thepower supply. The PIO
modulemay well beusedto powerand control external electronics,in whichcase
therecouldbe significanttransientsgenerated on thesupply lines. Where possible
supply transients should be suppressedat source, so this componentshould not be
critical.
ThePCB allowsfor a radial or axial capacitors. In order tobuilda low profile board,
the capacitorshould lay onits side. An axial capacitorwould bemost secure inthis
configuration, but thereis limited length allocated and youprobablydon’t have one!

supportthis feature.

of theboard.Dupont wires canbe used todaisychain thesesignalsto other
modules.
