9.4 TROUBLESHOOTING
Despite the high level of operational safety of the lifters, there is always a risk of malfunction.
If a malfunction occurs, follow the instructions below. First of all, remember to stay safe and do
not carry out any more complicated activities on your own than those that do not carry any
risk of accident during the repair or during the operation after repair. Do not attempt to rectify
the fault if it requires specialised knowledge and knowledge of the operation and design of
the vehicle.
9.4.1 Faults or damage to safety system
Do not use the vehicle if the safety system or any of its components is out of order. If the
vehicle has a safety failure during operation, it should be immediately transported to an
authorised service centre.
Do not use vehicle with damaged sound signal button, emergency stop or release button!
9.4.2 Oil leak or hydraulic hose brake
See point 8.6.5.
9.4.3 The container falls into the hopper
If the container falls into the hopper, perform the following steps. If the problem persists after
following the steps described, please inform the company's technical department. Do not drive
a vehicle with an inoperative lifter.
1. Turn off the body by pressing the emergency stop button.
2. Ensure that the emergency stop button is active.
3. Then carefully try to remove the container. If you are not sure that you can remove the
container safely, call for help. Contact the service centre and call a qualified mechanic. The
vehicle can also be taken to an authorized workshop if there is no risk of the container falling
out of the tailgate while driving.
