NOTE:
If you change the operation mode, the device will be
restarted automatically.
4. Set the detail parameters for the operation mode.
•
For Cable Broadband Mode
You need to connect the WAN to the LAN1 port
(LAN1/WAN) via Ethernet cable and select the
WAN Connection Mode. The other LAN ports
(LAN2~LAN4) are used to connect PC or laptop.
There are three WAN Connection Modes:
PPPoE
,
Static IP
and
Dynamic IP
. Please
contact with your service provider to conrm
which mode is t for you.
Select
Settings > Connection Mode
to change
the WAN connection mode and set the detail
parameters.

PPPoE mode
Select
PPPoE
, input the User Name and
Password and then set the WAN Connection
Mode.
NOTE:
Your service provider gives you the User Name and
Password.
