Authentication
for the peer to establish its identity using a 2-way handshake. Challenge-Handshake
Authentication Protocol (CHAP) is used to periodically verify the identity of the peer
using a 3-way handshake.
User Name
User name is used to obtain authentication from the ISP when the connection is
established
Password
Password is used to obtain authentication from the ISP when the connection is
established.
DNS
Set DNS mode.
3.6.5 WiFi Settings
Basic
Select Settings > Wi-Fi Settings > Basic, the wireless network basic parameters are shown in the
following figure:
The following items are displayed on this page:
• Sleep Time: Set a time limit (in seconds) for the device to enter sleep mode in case of client inactivity.
• Physical Mode: If all of the wireless devices connect with this device in the same transmission mode,
performance will be improved by choosing the appropriate wireless mode.
• Network Name (SSID): Service Set Identifier (SSID). Enter a string less than 32 characters as the name
