Lock screen message: Set the text that you may
display on the lock screen.
• Lock screen preferences: Set notification display rules on
the lock screen, and set lock screen message.
• Fingerprint: With the registered fingerprint, you can turn
on/unlock the screen or open a bound application when the
screen is off or locked. It is convenient and fast to take a
photo or answer the phone call by pressing the finger
(registered or not) on the fingerprint sensor. Also, you can
do more just by swiping your finger on the fingerprint sensor.

• Face Verify: You can use face detection to unlock the
screen without entering the specific PIN/password, or
drawing the pattern. See Using Face Detection.
• Smart Lock: Keep the phone unlocked when connected to
trusted devices, in trusted places, when recognizing a
trusted voice, or while being held or carried.
NOTE:
You must set a screen lock pattern, PIN, or password to use
the Smart Lock feature.
• Location: Manage location services, which help your
phone and apps determine your location. To use
location-related applications, such as finding your location
on Google Maps, you must have location services enabled
on your phone.
- Mode: Select location sources you want to use. To get
