NOTE: If you have set up screen lock (see page 120), you need to draw an unlock pattern, or enter a PIN or
password to unlock your screen.
Setting Up Your Voicemail
Your device automatically transfers all unanswered calls to your voicemail, even if your device is in use or turned
off. You should set up your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your device is activated. Always use a
password to protect against unauthorized access.
1. Tap Home Key >
to open the dialer.
2. Hold
to dial the voicemail number.
3. Follow the system prompts to create your password, record your name announcement and greeting.
You can also tap Home Key >
> Voicemail to dial the voicemail number.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you create a password when setting up your voicemail to protect against
unauthorized access. Without a password, anyone who has access to your phone is able to access your voicemail
messages.
