1. Tap Home Key >
> Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings.
2. Tap Menu Key > Advanced and select one of the following settings:
• Wi-Fi sleep policy: Specify when to switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
• MAC address: View your phone’s MAC address, which is a unique identifier assigned to the network
adapter or network interface card by the manufacturer for identification.
• IP address: View the IP address information.
• Configure the IP settings: Tick the Use static IP box to set IP address, Gateway, Netmask, DNS 1, and
DNS 2.
NOTE: Contact your IP service provider for IP settings and other information.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) Settings
You can set up and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) in this menu.
NOTE: Before you can use a VPN you must establish and configure one.
To add a VPN:
1. Tap Home Key >
> Settings > Wireless & networks > VPN settings.
2. Tap Add VPN.
3. Select a VPN type and do the appropriate configuration settings for this connection type.
4. Tap Menu Key > Save to save the settings.
