Figure 3 shows the software structure of the ZXMSG 5200.

The database system provides resource management functions, providing
interfaces for software modules and implementing database configuration
and O&M functions.
The H.248 system is responsible for maintaining connection between the
ZXMSG 5200 and SOFTSWITCH, interpreting and executing the
SOFTSWITCH commands.
The service (CALL) system implements the H.248 command execution.
The H.248 describes calls and their operation logically. Through bottom
layer drive software, the CALL implements physical operations on the
ZXMSG 5200, single receiving and forwarding to the H.248 system, and
also creates and maintains operations related with the ZXMSG 5200
structure.
