Implementing subscriber’s hook-on/hook-off, pressing hook
information, test and reporting results to H.248 module, under the
control of H.248 (factually, under the control of MGC/SS)
Tone playing/tone stopping, such as dialing tone, ring-back tone and
ringing tone
Receiving number, analyzing number and then transmitting the
number to MGC after the number matching
Resource connection; connected to subscriber side LC network and T
network dual-direction path
The RtpCall processing sub-module provides the following functions:
Occupying and returning Rtp side resources, such as T network
resource, RTP_SLN resource and data area resource
Connecting to or disconnecting from the RTP side resource T network
Opening and closing the RTP path; modifying RTP path parameters
The Agtrace service tracing sub-module provides the following functions:
Call loss completion, and measuring call loss according to failure types
Suspended resource data area observation
The M05 performance statistics sub-module provides performance
statistics for services and relevant modules.
H.248 System
The H.248 system is responsible for maintaining connections between the
ZXMSG 5200 and the SOFTSWITCH control equipment. The system can
interpret and execute SOFTSWITCH commands.
Figure 17 shows the overall block diagram as well as internal and external
interfaces of H.248 system.
