2.3 Front Panel
The LED status indicators are located on the front panel of the Zyxel device.
The following table describes the LED status indicators:
LED Colour Status Description
Power
Green
On The device is receiving power and is ready for use.
Blinking The device is starting up.
Red
On The device detected an error during start-up.
Blinking The device is uploading firmware.
Ethernet
WAN
Green
On There is Ethernet connection on the WAN.
O There is no Ethernet connection on the WAN.
Internet
Green
On The device has an IP connection but no trac.
Blinking The device is sending or receiving IP trac.
O
There is no Internet connection, or the gateway
is in bridged mode.
Red On
The device attempted to get an IP address, but it
failed. Possible causes are no response from the
DHCP server, no PPPoE response, or the PPPoE
authentication failed.
LAN1-4 Green
On
The Zyxel device has a successful 10/100/1000 Mbps
Ethernet connection with a device on the LAN.
Blinking
The Zyxel device is sending or receiving data
to/from the LAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
O
The Zyxel device does not have an Ethernet
connection with the LAN.
