3. Remove the old batteries from the battery holder and replace them with new ones. Ensure you
note their polarity (refer to Figure 7-10:).

4. Replace with the new batteries.
NOTE: Ensure the polarity is correct when installing the new battery.
WARNING: AFTER REPLACEMENT, PERFORM A BUMP TEST AND CALIBRATION TO
ENSURE PROPER OPERATION PRIOR TO PLACING BACK INTO SERVICE.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS WARNING COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH.
