5. Install the battery cover and tighten the screws with the sequence shown in Figure 7-11:

7.2.3. REPLACING THE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
Replace the lithium battery as follows:
1. Set or verify the device is turned off.
2. Unscrew and remove four (4) screws from the back of the device using a Philips screw driver (see
Figure 7-12: Lithium Battery Pack Access).
WARNING: DO NOT REPLACE BATTERY WHILE IN A HAZARDOUS LOCATION.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS WARNING COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the belt clip to access the battery.
NOTE: The torque of the screw driver should be 3 to 4 inch-pounds to loosen the screws.
