7.2.2. REPLACING THE ALKALINE BATTERY
Replace the alkaline battery as follows:
1. Turn the device off.
2. Unscrew and remove the Four (4) screws from the back of the device using a Philips screw driver
(see Figure 7-9: Remove the Alkaline Battery Cover).

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the belt clip to access the battery.
CAUTION: Do not put the small screw in wrong place.
NOTE: The torque of the screw driver should be 3 to 4 inch-pounds to loosen or tighten the
screws.
