2. Replace with a new sensor cover that contains three (3) sensor filters.
3. Discard the old sensor cover.
4. When finished, reverse the above procedure.
7.2.5. INSTALLING THE PUMP
The pump module can be directly used to detect the gas or it can be used with the sample probe to
test for gases in confined spaces. To measure gas using the sample probe:
1. Attach the pump into the access slots
2. Using a standard screwdriver, secure the pump to the monitor by tightening the captive screw
(see Figure 7-13: Attaching the Pump).

3. If the sampling probe is available, attach it to the pump (see Section 7.2.7. ATTACHING SAM-
PLING PROBE).
4. A pump icon will appear on the LCD screen (see Figure 7-14: Pump Icon).
WARNING: IF DEVICE DOES NOT OPERATE IN THE MANNER DESCRIBED, DO NOT
USE. TAG IT OUT OF SERVICE. FAILURE TO ENSURE IT IS PROPERLY
OPERATING MAY RESULT SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
