Filament removal – running machine
When machine is running, you may need to replace an empty spool with a new one.
To perform this duty, you must pause the printing process, either from PC (if printer is being tethered to PC
with USB connection or network connection thru print server) or locally fro m the front panel (when
printing from SD card).
Once machine is paused, you can then proceed to:
1. opening the feeder handle, locking it open
2. removing currently loaded filament and its spool
3. loading new spool
4. pushing new filament inside PTFE piping until it reaches extruder
5. releasing feeder handle
Now you can restart paused printing.
