Chapter 3: BIOS setup
[Auto] Allows the system to detect the presence of USB
devices at startup. If detected, the USB controller
legacy mode is enabled. If no USB device is detected,
the legacy USB support is disabled.
3.3.10 NCT6791D Super IO Configuration
Allows you to congure the system super I/O chip parameters.
Serial Port1~2 Configuration
The sub-items in this menu allow you to set the serial port conguration.
Serial Port [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the serial port (COM).Conguration options:
[Enabled] [Disabled]
The followins two items appear only when you set the Serial Port to [Enabled].
Change Settings [Auto]
Allows you to select the Serial Port base address.
Conguration options: [Auto] [IO=3F8h; IRQ=4] [IO=3F8h;
IRQ=3,4,5,6,7,10,11,12] [IO=2F8h; IRQ=3,4,5,6,7,10,11,12] [IO=3E8h;

Device Mode [RS232]
This item is only supported by Serial Port 1 and allows you to select COM RS
Mode. Conguration options: [RS232] [RS422] [RS485]

Allows you to monitor the hardware status.

The sub-items in this menu allow you to set the smart fan conguration.
CPU Smart Fan Control [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the CPU Smart Fan Control.Conguration
options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Chassis Smart Fan Control [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the Chassis Smart Fan Control.Conguration
options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
