Troubleshooting Solutions
How do I lock my phone?
You can lock your phone to prevent the phone from being used or configured. You can lock the
phone using any of the following:
• At the path Options->Phone Lock on the IP Phone UI.
• At the path Operations->Phone Lock on the Aastra Web UI.
Use the following procedure to lock an IP phone using the IP Phone UI.
Lock the Phone
1. Press the key and select "Options List" from the Menu.
2. Select Phone Lock and press 4.
3. Press 4 to set the phone to lock.
4. Press on the phone.
The following message displays:
"Phone is locked".
Unlock the Phone
1. Press the key and select "Options List" from the Menu.
2. Enter your user password and press 4.
The phone unlocks
