      If the speaker on your Aastra IP Phone isn't working, it might be set for headset use only. Press the Speaker key again. If the light turns off, the phone is set for headset or handset use only. If the light stays on and you hear a dial tone, you can switch between the speaker and headset by pressing the Speaker key.

      If the display on your Aastra IP Phone is blank, ensure the phone is receiving power. If your network doesn't provide inline power over Ethernet, you can use an Aastra PoE inline power supply to provide power. See the section “Connecting to the Network and to Power” in the Aastra Model 6753i Installation Guide for details.

      Ensure that power is being provided to your Aastra IP Phone. If your network does not provide inline power over Ethernet, you can obtain an additional accessory, the Aastra PoE (Power over Ethernet) inline power supply, to provide power over Ethernet locally to your phone.
