• During deinstallation of the programme StartCenter, the entire installation
directory with all its sub-directories is deleted. Backup the necessary offline con-
figurators before uninstalling.
Browser for OpenCTI 50 and OpenHotel 100
You can simplify the daily use of the OpenCTI 50 and OpenHotel 100 Web applica-
tions using the Web browser especially adapted for the OpenCom 100. Each time the
workstation computer is restarted, this browser programme can automatically start
and log you in. This means that the applications are always operational and can be
accessed using the icon in the information area of the task bar.
Installing the Browser
1. Call up the start mask from the product CD (see Configuring the PC Software on
page 216).
2. Select Software: Install Browser for OpenCTI 50 or Software: Install Browser
for OpenHotel 100 from the start mask.
3. Follow the programme instructions.
After installing the browser, there is a new menu item in the Windows start menu
under Programs: OpenCTI 50 Browser respectively Programs: Hotel Starter.
Further information can be found in the online help of the browser programme. To
view this, click the top left corner in the OpenCTI 50-browser’s programme window
on the system menu symbol or on the symbol in the information area of the task bar.
Select the Readme command. You will find the OpenHotel 100’s readme in the
installation directory of this browser programme.
Note
Both browser programmes can be used simultaneously.
