5 Mounting
5.14.6 Pressure or absolute pressure measurement
of a tank
— Place the taps in the upper part of the tank.
— Mount the transmitter above the elevation of the process
tap (both pressure and differential pressure transmitter can
be used).
— Connect the transmitter to the tank.

5.14.7 Pressure or absolute pressure measurement
of a liquid in a pipe
— Place the tap at the side of the line.
— Mount the transmitter (both pressure and differential
pressure transmitters) beside or below the tap for clean
fluids, above the tap for dirty fluids.
— Connect the + (H) side of the transmitter to the pipe.
