Entering the password
As soon as the user wishes to access a password-protected menu or a
password-protected value change, he is requested to enter the password
(see page 102).
In this respect, the numbers 1, 2 and 3 are assigned to the three keys ,
and
, as shown in the illustration.
Example: If the password "1213" has been configured, the user has to press
the keys , , and in succession. Each key stroke is acknowledged
by display of the character *.
The entered password remains active until the user returns to the measuring
mode or the gas analyzer automatically switches over to the measuring
mode through the time-out function (see page 50).
