4 Once all the parts are in place, use two wrenches (one holding the head bolt and the other, the probe
slot) to apply the recommended torque (see below) in opposite directions at the same time.

NOTICE
There are two sizes of head locks: 8.9 mm (0.35 in) and 13.5 mm (0.53 in). The
recommended torque, as specified by the manufacturer, is as follows:
• For the 8.9 mm lock: 2.8 N·m (2.1 lbf.ft).
• For the 13.5 mm lock: 13.5 N·m (10.0 lbf.ft).
