If you are using the sensor in Zone 0 and the transmitter in Zone 20, the transmitter must
conform to category 1D and the circuit must be of the "ia" design.
If the transmitter is designed with intrinsic safety, the power supply must feature an intrinsically
safe circuit at all times.

The only way to achieve the “flameproof enclosure” type of protection is through the correct
installation of a specially certified cable gland with Ex d type of protection that is marked
accordingly.
