6 Commissioning BRS-LC
6.1 Transport and installation
1 Fix the optional support to a vibration-free working surface in the robot's work area with four screws.
6.2 Establishing the electrical connection
Risk of injury
Physical injury due to falling devices and add-on components.
• Use an appropriate lifting tool with load handling attachment for transporting and installing the BRS-LC.
• Avoid abrupt lifting and setting down.
• Do not lift the components over persons or other devices.
• Transport the components in an upright position.
• Wear your personal protective equipment: safety shoes with steel toe caps, protective gloves, safety helmet, ear
protectors.
• Send bystanders out of the danger zone.
• Note the weight of the individual components.

Risk of toppling
Physical injury or damage to components due to improper assembly.
• Disconnect the supply lines.
• Place the components on a suitable base (flat, solid, dry) on which they will not topple over.
• Ensure clear access to the control elements and connections.
• Protect the components against rain and direct sunlight.
• Use the device only in dry, clean and well-ventilated rooms.
Risk of injury and device damage due to improper connection
Improper connection to the earth rail of the system/building installation.
• Implement suitable measures as defined in the standards.
• These operating instructions describe multiple variations.
• Observe the provided circuit diagrams and optional wiring.
• The gas nozzle diameter must match that of the prism.
• The distance sleeve must match the nominal diameter of the gas nozzle.
• The reamer must be precisely aligned with the torch type.
