This section provides details about removing HDD/BIOS passwords.
Removing HDD Password 0
If the HDD password is incorrectly entered three times, an error is generated.

To reset the HDD password, perform the following:
1. Open the computer in a DOS environment.
2. Enter the unlock6 XXXXX 0 (where XXXXX is the HDD password error code) command.

3. Press Enter to display the command options.

4. Select option 2 Upper case ASCII code, then press Enter.
5. Write down the generated master password.
