Installation & Programming The Powered Hinge
The wiring for the powered hinge is connected as shown in the illustration. Ensure mains power is switched off
and unplugged.
The rail charge points are wired to the terminal block. Care must be taken to ensure that the polarity is correct
otherwise the lift will not charge.
The motor wiring is connected to the motor terminal block as red positive and black negative regardless of the
hand of the hinge installation. The hinge folded interlock switch wiring that is in the same cable as the motor
wiring, is connected to the terminal block marked ‘hinge folded limit switch’. The hinge limit switch, which is also
the same cable connected to the terminal block marked ‘hinge interlock safety switch’.
