Connecting via Windows 8.1
To connect a device running Windows 8.1 to the Receiver:
Note: If the screens from the procedure below do not appear on the Windows 8.1 device,
go to:
http://www.actiontec.com/widi81
for the latest soware update. Alternatively, the update can be acquired through the
Windows Update application.

From the Windows desktop, go to the Charms menu and select Devices. Alternatively, press
the (Windows logo) + K keys on the keyboard.

e Devices menu appears. Click Project.

e Project menu appears. Select Add a wireless display.
