selector

the
RPM
position
and
put
the
range
switch
in
the
LOW
position.

CYCLE
switch
to
the
proper
position
for
your
vehicle
(consult
your
owner's
manual).

clip

the
distributor
(-)
side
of
the
ignition
coil
and
the
BLACK
test
clip

ground.

Clip
the
inductive
pickup
to
any
spark
plug
wire
(with
the
arrow

plug).

With
shift
selector

Neutral,
start
engine
and
let
it
idle
at
normal
idle
speed.

While
observing
the
LOW
RPM
scale,
slowly
turn
idle
mixture
screw(s)

(counterclockwise)
to
achieve
highest
RPM
and
smooth-
est
idle
operation.
