How to fix no outdoor sensor reception on ACU-RITE Weather Station?
    • A
      Anthony WilsonAug 5, 2025
To fix the 'No outdoor sensor reception' issue on your ACU-RITE Weather Station, try these steps: First, relocate the display unit and/or the 3-in-1 sensor, ensuring they are within 330 ft (100 m) of each other and at least 3 feet (.9 m) away from electronics like TVs or microwaves to avoid interference. Use standard alkaline or lithium batteries (if the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC), avoiding heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. If you replace the batteries, allow up to 20 minutes for synchronization. If the problem persists, synchronize the units by bringing both indoors, removing a battery from each, matching the A-B-C switch settings, reinstalling the batteries, and letting them sit close together for 20 minutes to establish a strong connection.

Why is the temperature or humidity inaccurate on my ACU-RITE Weather Station?
    • J
      John SheppardAug 10, 2025
If your ACU-RITE Weather Station is showing inaccurate temperature or humidity readings, ensure both the display unit and 3-in-1 sensor are away from heat sources and moisture. Also, make sure the 3-in-1 sensor is mounted at least 5 ft off the ground. You can also calibrate the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.

What causes inaccurate wind readings on ACU-RITE Weather Station?
    • M
      Melissa GonzalezAug 17, 2025
To address inaccurate wind readings on your ACU-RITE Weather Station, consider these points: Compare your readings to those from a sensor positioned at the same mounting height, as professional weather stations are typically mounted at 30 ft or higher. Ensure your sensor is mounted at least 5 ft in the air without any nearby obstructions. Also, check that the wind cups are spinning freely; if they are not, try lubricating them with graphite powder or spray lubricant.

Why is the outdoor temperature flashing on my ACU-RITE Weather Station?
    • L
      Lauren GuerreroAug 23, 2025
If the outdoor temperature on your ACU-RITE Weather Station is flashing or showing dashes, it could be due to wireless interference. Ensure that the A-B-C switch in the battery compartments of both the display unit and the sensor are set to the same letter (A, B, or C). Changing to a different channel might also resolve the issue.
  • G
    Gary FrancoAug 29, 2025
What to do if the display screen is not working on ACU-RITE Weather Station?
    • S
      Stacey PaulAug 29, 2025
If the display screen on your ACU-RITE Weather Station isn't working, first check that the batteries are correctly installed and replace them if needed. If that doesn't work, reset the display by pressing and holding the “CLEAR RECORD/RESET” button located on the back of the display unit in the battery compartment. Keep in mind that you will need to enter the date and time after performing a reset.
