Why are my ACU-RITE Weather Station wind readings inaccurate?
    • J
      Jennifer JohnsonAug 10, 2025
To address inaccurate wind readings on your ACU-RITE Weather Station: * Consider what the wind reading is being compared to. Professional weather stations are typically mounted at 30 ft or higher. Ensure you are comparing data with a sensor positioned at a similar mounting height. * Check the sensor's location. Make sure it is mounted at least 5 ft in the air, free from any obstructions within several feet. * Verify that the wind cups are spinning freely. If they hesitate or stop, try lubricating them with graphite powder or spray lubricant.
