  To resolve the issue of no outdoor sensor reception on your AcuRite Weather Station, ensure the display unit and outdoor sensor are within 330 feet (100 m) of each other. Also, position both units at least 3 feet (.9 m) away from electronics like TVs, microwaves, and computers that might cause interference. Use standard alkaline or lithium batteries (when the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC), avoiding heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. Allow up to 20 minutes for the display unit and sensor to synchronize after replacing the batteries.

  If the outdoor temperature on your AcuRite Weather Station is flashing or showing dashes, wireless interference might be the cause. Try bringing both the sensor and display unit indoors and removing at least one battery from each. Ensure the A-B-C switch on both units matches. Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor and then in the display unit. Allow the units to sit within a couple of feet of each other for about 20 minutes to establish a strong connection.

  To troubleshoot an inaccurate forecast on your AcuRite Weather Station, remember that the forecast icon predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not current conditions. Check if the Learning Mode icon has disappeared from the display unit; Learning Mode must complete for an accurate forecast and pressure reading. Allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days, as battery removal or resetting the display unit will restart Learning Mode. The forecast should become fairly accurate after 14 days, but Learning Mode calibrates fully over 33 days.

  If the display screen of your AcuRite Weather Station is not working, first check that the batteries are installed correctly and replace them if needed. If that doesn't work, reset the display by pressing the RESET button on the back of the unit. Note that you will need to enter the date and time after a reset.
