The portal may optionally include a video camera for real-time inspection monitoring and
saving images to the CONPASS database.
3.3 EXTERNAL COVERS
The external covers (see Figure 3.4) of the System restrict access to the internal com-
ponents and units and also protect them from mechanical damage. There are four signal lamp
assemblies on these covers, with the green light informing on readiness for operation and with
red light informing about scanning start.
