− obtaining the X-ray image of a person in full height;
− repeated screenings of the same person throughout a year due to the low radiation
dose;
− high detectability;
− detecting any items (including plastic explosive) hidden on the body or within clothes
as well as inside a human body (swallowed or hidden in body cavities) at a single
inspection;
− high throughput (no personal search required);
− elimination of the influence of uninformative scattered radiation on image quality.
Modern digital technologies provide:
− high quality and readability of images;
− a wide range of modern mathematical algorithms of digital image processing;
− easy storage and transfer of information.
System design solutions ensure an optimal combination of the above-mentioned param-
eters.
1.3 IDENTIFICATION
There is an identification plate with the marking (see Figure 1.3) on the System housing.
