The Operator’s computer is connected to the System’s components via Ethernet port
and serial ports. It can be located in the immediate vicinity of the System or in a separate room.
The Operator’s AWS is intended to:
− send control commands to the X-ray generators, movable platform or the conveyor;
− control the protective mechanisms of the System;
− obtain data from the X-ray dosimeters (if available);
− acquire, view, graphically process and archive X-ray images.
Operator's AWS can be supplied with or without Operator's stand.
3.6 VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERA (OPTION)
The System may optionally include a video surveillance camera, which is located as
shown in Figure 3.11, provides real-time display of the image on the operator's screen and
allows to save the images of the inspected individual to the database.

3.7 AUTOMATIC THERMOMETER (OPTION)
The automatic thermometer allows to measure the body temperature of the inspected
individual and store the data in a database.
