1.2.3 Software features
The System software implements modern digital technologies of System control, making
it possible to acquire, process and store X-ray images. The software package is an original
specialized software and provides a full set of features for effective personal inspection:
− X-ray source control;
− rotary frame movement control;
− X-ray protective shutter control (in case of use);
− data acquisition from dosimeters (in case of use);
− data acquisition from detector;
− image creation and saving as a file;
− digital processing of the images;
− printing of the digital X-ray images.
The software provides a variety of tools to process the digital X-ray images making thus
the work of the operator more efficient in terms of identifying prohibited or dangerous objects.
An intuitive graphic interface enables simple control of the image processing functions.
A detailed description of the software is provided in the Operator's manual.
1.2.4 Key Features of the System
The method of projection scanning by a narrow fan-shaped beam enables:
The flexible architecture of the software package allows, if necessary,
to equip the System with additional computers, digital x-ray image
storage systems, as well as integrate it into various security systems.
