CAUTION: The dryer must be grounded. A ground
lug has been provided for this purpose.
Input connection wiring must be sized properly to handle the
dryer’s current draw. This information is printed on the dryer’s
rating plate.
IMPORTANT: A strain relief must be used where the input
wiring enters the electric box.
Three-Phase (3ø)
Wiring Connections / Hookup
The electrical input connections on all single-phase (1ø) gas
dryers and steam dryers are made into the rear service box
located at the upper left area of the dryer.
For 208-480V Applications

Single-Phase (1ø) Electric Heat
Wiring Connections / Hookup
The electrical connections on all models with electric heat
are made in the rear service box, located at the upper right
area of the dryer. The electrical connections and the ground
connection are made at the power distribution block, located
in the service box.
To gain access, the service box cover must be removed. Input
connection wiring must be sized properly to handle the dryer’s
current draw as printed on the dryer’s rating plate.
