Creating a Quiz

4 Specify whether the question is a graded or survey question.
Graded Question Use this option if you are trying to evaluate the user using the score you have assigned for the
question.
Survey Question Use this option if you are trying to get user feedback.
5 Click OK.
Prepare a question slide
1 Create a question using the various options available for that slide. See the sections on the respective question slides
for more information.
2 On stage,
1 Type the name of the question replacing the dummy text
If you are creating many questions of the same type in a single project, enter unique names for each so that you
can distinguish them easily.
2 Type the question replacing the dummy text
3 Enter the correct answer or answers replacing the dummy text. This step varies according to the type of question.
See topics on the respective question slides for more information.
4 Select the question text caption and then in the Properties Inspector (Window > Properties) specify the style,
format, character, position, and size.
If you are creating many questions of the same type in a single project, enter unique names for each so that you
can distinguish them easily.
5 In the Quiz panel (Window > Quiz Properties),
In the General Area,
Assign a score (from 1 to 100) to the question
Specify the numbering style (uppercase letters, lowercase letters, or numbers)
In the Options area, specify whether to include Clear, Back, and Skip buttons.
Clear Resets the slide to the initial view. It allows the user to start answering the questions on a slide by clearing
the entered answers.
Back Takes the user to the previously attempted question slide.
Skip Allows the user to skip the question slide and move to the next slide.
In the Action area, make appropriate selections for
On Success

On Success options
In the Action area of Quiz Properties panel, select the action that should take place after the user provides the correct
answer from the On Success menu:
Continue The movie moves to the next defined action.
