Create a fill-in-the-blank question slide
Follow the general workflow for creating a question slide.
1 Add a Fill-In-The-Blank question slide.
2 Type a sentence or phrase replacing the dummy text.
3 Select a word or phrase in the sentence you just typed, right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) and then
select Mark Blank.
4 (Optional) To add multiple options:
1 Double click the word/phrase that is marked blank and then use the + button to add additional words/phrases
that correctly fills in the blank.
2 Select Dropdown list instead of User Input.
3 Check the words/phrases that correctly fills in the blank.
4 Select Shuffle Ans if you want the choices to appear in a different order each time the user returns to this
question.

Create a short-answer question slide
Follow the general workflow for creating a question slide.
1 Add a Short Answer question slide.
2 On stage, type a question replacing the dummy text.
Note: If you want to create a survey question rather than a graded question, in the General Area of the Quiz panel
(Window > Quiz Properties), select Survey as the type.
3 In the Correct Entries, specify the phrases or sentences that constitute correct answers.
