ICAM-500 User Manual 36
5.5 Expand storage space with SD card
If you have insufficient storage space to deal with, please ask your local FAE/AE for
an SD card expansion tool.
1. Please prepare an SD card with a capacity of at least 32GB, 64GB is better.
2. Insert the SD card into the ICAM-500 then enter the “sdcard-expansion-tool.sh”
command.
3. This script will sync some major file system to the SD card and automatically
mount the linked files via fstab at boot time.
4. After you use script to expand the storage space, any operation on the ICAM-
500 will be reflected on the SD card, so do not remove the SD card at any time!
5. When the SD card is abnormal, the system will enter emergency mode.
6. Press Enter for maintenance. Replace /etc/fstab.org with /etc/fstab in console.
7. Restart the ICAM-500 device.
8. Please note that the file system at this time is the file system before you use the
SD card expansion tool.
9. Then back up the wrong SD card files and prepare a new SD card to re-execute
the script.
