Pressing any key on the face of the trip unit powers the unit
from its internal baƩery. BaƩery power is maintained for 20
sec aŌer the last key is pressed.
This self-powered mode allows seƫng up the trip unit or
viewing trip targets when the breaker is de-energized and
external control power is unavailable.
All normal setup, meter, and status funcƟons can be
performed with baƩery power.

Remark
Replace the baƩery if it does not power up the trip unit when
any key is pressed.
LiŌ the baƩery cover on the front of the trip unit to expose the
3.6 V 1/2 AA lithium cell.
-- A suitable replacement is TADIRAN part number TLL-5902/S or
SANYO part number CR14250SE which are commonly available
from most electrical stores or industrial distributors.
