- Posizionare il cabinet sull’unità avendo cura di accoppiar-
lo correttamente con la piastra attacchi come indicato in fig.
16; applicare le 4 squadrette (8 per le versioni binate)
negli appositi alloggiamenti del cabinet e su queste avvi-
tare le viti alle staffe batteria (fig. 18).
ATTENZIONE!! avvitare le viti con una coppia di serraggio
massima di 0,45 Nm, si consiglia di utilizzare un cacciaviti,
non usare avvitatori non tarati. Una eccessiva coppia di
serraggio provoca danni irreversibili alla bacinella.
- Montare il convogliatore (2 per le versioni binate) sul
cabinet e fissarlo con le 4 viti.
- Solo per FCA-R: rimontare la scatola della scheda elettroni-
ca dal cabinet con le 2 viti precedentemente tolte (fig. 22).
- Solo per FCA-R: eseguire i collegamenti elettrici ai connet-
tori della scheda elettronica (ricevitore della griglia GLA-R,
sonda aria, alimentazione di motore e valvole, e se pre-
senti degli accessori resistenza e sonda acqua) (fig. 23).

NSTALLAZIONE DELL’ACCESSORIO (
OBBLIGATORIO) GRIGLIE DI
MANDATA E D
’ASPIRAZIONE GLA / GLA-R
- Aprire l'imballo degli accessori obbligatori GLA o GLA-R,
assieme cornice di mandata e griglia d’aspirazione,
togliere la griglia dall'imballo e controllare che non sia
stata danneggiata durante il trasporto.
- Togliere la griglia di aspirazione agendo sui 2 nottolini ad
¼ di giro.
- Aprire la confezione sigillata contenente il filtro precari-
cato elettrostaticamente e montarlo sulla griglia di aspira-
zione come indicato nelle istruzioni a corredo.
- Per facilitare il fissaggio della cornice al ventilconvettore
fissare i due ganci di sostegno agli appositi appigli sul
convogliatore e fissarla all’unità tramite le 4 viti a corre-
do, fare attenzione alla posizione di montaggio (fig. 11),
la cornice deve essere posizionata in modo che il vetrino
con il logo AERMEC sia nell’angolo vicino allo scarico
condensa totale (SCT). La cornice garantisce la tenuta tra
aspirazione e mandata dell’aria, pertanto deve essere fis-
sata correttamente all’unità senza subire deformazioni.
- Solo per FCA-R: collegare il cavo del ricevitore al connet-
tore sulla scatola della scheda elettronica (fig. 23).
- Montare la griglia di aspirazione agganciandola alla cernie-
ra sulla cornice, agganciare i cavi di sicurezza alla cornice.
- Richiudere la griglia di aspirazione e avvitare i due notto-
lini (sul lato opposto alla cerniera) di mezzo giro.
- Registrare la posizione dell’unità dalla staffa di supporto-
mediante i dadi, in modo che l’unità sia in bolla e la cor-
nice appoggi leggermente nel controsoffitto.
- Solo per FCA-R: inserire le batterie in dotazione nel tele-
comando.
- Avviare il ventilconvettore ed eseguire una prova di fun-
zionamento, le funzioni sono descritte nel manuale d’uso.

ILTRO DELL’ARIA PRECARICATO ELETTROSTATICAMENTE
Resistenza al fuoco Classe 2 (UL 900).
Facilmente estraibile è fornito a corredo degli accessori
assieme griglia GLA e GLA-R, in confezione sigillata, da
aprire solo al momento dell’utilizzo.
Il filtro precaricato elettrostaticamente abbina alla normale
filtrazione meccanica dell’aria che passa attraverso il filtro,
anche una attrazione elettrostatica delle polveri che ne
aumenta sensibilmente la filtrazione (fig. 1).
La precarica elettrostatica del filtro si esaurisce dopo 2 anni
dall’apertura della confezione, dopo tale periodo si com-
porterà come un normale filtro. Per questo motivo se ne
consiglia la sostituzione con uno nuovo dopo 2 anni (dispo-
nibile come ricambio presso i centri assistenza Aermec).
Pulire frequentemente (fig. 26), togliere la polvere accumu-
lata con un aspiratore, l’uso di acqua e detergenti, accelera
sensibilmente il decadimento della precarica elettrostatica.

NSTALLAZIONE IN PROSSIMITÀ DI UNA PARETE
In caso di installazione in prossimità di una parete è possi-
bile chiudere la corrispondente bocchetta di mandata con
la guarnizione fornita a corredo (fig. 21).

battery brackets on them (fig. 18).
CAUTION!! tighten the screws with maximum tightening
torque of 0.45 Nm, you are advised to use a screwdriver,
do not use non calibrated electric screwdrivers. The basin
will be damaged irreparably if tightened up too tight.
- Mount the conveyor (2 for the twin versions) on the cabinet.
- For FCA-R only: re-fit the electronic card box inside the
chassis with the two screws removed before (fig. 22).
- For FCA-R only: wire the electronic card connectors
(GLA-R grill receiver, air sensor, motor and valves and the
heater and water sensor accessories, if present) (fig. 23).

NSTALLATION OF THE (OBLIGATORY) GLA OR GLA-R DELIVERY
AND INTAKE GRILLE ACCESSORIES
- Open the packaging of the GLA or GLA-R obligatory
accessories, delivery frame and intake grille assembly
packaging, remove the grille from the packaging and
check that it was not damaged during transport.
- Remove the intake grille by rotating the 2 catches ¼ of a
turn.
- Open the sealed box containing the electro-statically pre-
loaded filter and fit it to the intake grille as shown in the
instructions provided.
- To make the fixing of the frame to the fan coil unit easier,
attach the two support hooks to the appropriate holds on
the conveyor and fix it to the unit using the four screws
provided, pay attention to the fixing position (fig. 11),
the frame must be positioned in such a way that the win-
dow showing the word AERMEC is in the corner close to
the total condensate drain (SCT). The frame guarantees
the seal between the air intake and delivery, it must the-
refore be fixed to the unit properly without being bent,
broken or creased.
Only for FCA-R: connect the receiver cable to the con-
nector on the electronic card box (fig. 23).
- Mount the intake grille by hooking it to the hinge on the
frame, hook the safety cables to the frame.
- Close the intake grille again and rotate the 2 catches (on
the side opposite the hinge) a half turn.
- Adjust the position of the machine from the support
bracket by means of the nuts so that the unit is level and
the frame rests slightly in the suspended ceiling.
- Only for FCA-R: Insert the supplied batteries in the remote
control.
- Start the fan coil and perform an operational test, the
functions are described in the users manual.

LECTRO-STATICALLY PRELOADED AIR FILTER
Fire Resistance Class 2 (UL 900).
Easy to extract, it comes with GLA or GLA-R grille assembly
accessories, in a sealed box to open only when it is to be
used.
The electro-statically preloaded filter combines the normal
mechanical filtering of the air that passes through the filter,
with an electrostatic attraction of powder that increases its
filtering considerably (fig. 1).
The electrostatic preload of the filter is spent after two years
of the box being opened, after this period it behaves like a
normal filter. For this reason a replacement with a new one
is advised after two years.
Cleaning frequently, removing the dust (fig. 26) that has
built up using a vacuum, the use of water and cleaning sub-
stances considerably speeds up the electrostatic preload
deterioration.

NSTALLATION NEAR A WALL
If installing near a wall, the corresponding delivery grille
can be closed using the supplied gasket (fig. 21).
