This manual contains the information required to successfully get
started using Agilent Cary 600 Series FTIR spectrometers and
microscopes. Where mentioned, the specifications between
spectrometer and microscope differ. All other specifications are for
both. Unless specified otherwise, this manual covers the Agilent Cary
660, 670, 680 Spectrometers and the Agilent Cary 610 Microscopes.
If you have purchased the spectrometer only, skip all instructions
related to the microscope. If you have purchased an Agilent Cary 620
FTIR microscope, see the Agilent Cary 620 FTIR Microscope User’s
Guide.
Specifications
Agilent Cary 600 Series FTIR spectrometers and microscopes are
suitable for indoor use only and are classified Pollution degree 2 and
Installation Category II (EN 61010-1).
