Never start the engine or operate the device inside enclosed spaces or
buildings. Gas fumes contain the dangerous carbon monoxide.
Never attempt to adjust the engine while the device is working and is strapped
to the operator. Always perform adjustments of the engine while the device is
lying on a flat work surface.
Do not pick up the device in any way other than by holding it by the handle on
the shaft.
Do not put the device onto the ground while the engine is working (e.g. while it
is idle).
Inspect the device regularly in order to check it for damage, faulty parts,
components or cables.
Do not use the device if it is damaged or improperly adjusted. Never remove
the shields from the device. It can cause serious injury to the operator or
observer, as well as damage to the device.
Examine the area which is to be mowed and remove all the debris that can get
entangled in the cutting line head. Also remove all the objects which may be
thrown to the side by the device in the mowing process.
Keep children at safe distance. Also, observers should be kept at a safe distance
of at least 15 m (50 feet) from the working area.
Never leave the device unattended.
Do not use this device for any work other than what it is intended for, as it is
specified in this manual.
Do not overstretch yourself. Keep proper footing and balance. Do not operate
this device while standing on a ladder or in any other place which is not stable
to stand on.
Keep your hands and feet out of reach of the line head while operating the
device.
Do not use this type of device for sweeping the litter.
Do not use the device when you are tired, sick or under the influence of
medicines, drugs or alcohol.
Use only undamaged line heads. If you hit a rock or another obstruction, stop
the engine and examine the line head. A broken or imbalanced cutting line head
must never be used.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION FOR REPLACING THE ACCESSORIES AND
EQUIPMENT.
Do not store in an enclosed space where the fumes may get in contact with
open flame from hot water heaters, heaters, ovens etc. Only store in locked and
well-ventilated spaces.
