GASOLINE
Use certified unleaded gasoline with octane rating 89 or more, which you know is
of good quality.
STORING THE FUEL
Store fuel only in a clean, safe and certified canister. Check and follow the local
regulations regarding the type of canisters and storage.
IMPORTANT
The two-stroke engine mixture can get separated. Shake the canister thoroughly
before each use. The stored fuel gets old. Do not mix larger quantities of fuel than
you will spend in one month.
GASOLINE AND OIL MIXTURE
Check the tank and make sure that it is clean and filled with fresh fuel. Use the
mixture with the 40:1 ratio.
PREPARATION FOR WORK
WHEN YOU MIX GASOLINE WITH MOTOR OIL FOR TWO-STROKE ENGINS, USE ONLY
THE PETROL WHICH DOES NOT CONTAIN ETHANOL OR METHANOL (TYPES OF
ALCOHOL). THAT WILL HELP AVOID POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO THE FUEL LINES AND
OTHER PARTS OF THE ENGINE.
DO NOT MIX GASOLINE AND OIL DIRECTLY IN THE ENGINE FUEL TANK.
IMPORTANT: If you do not follow the instructions for proper fuel mixture, engine
damage may occur.
1. When preparing a fuel mixture, mix only the amount that is necessary for the
work you need to do. Do not use fuel that has been stored for more than two
(2) months. Fuel mixture that has been stored for a period longer than this will
cause a difficult start and poor performance. If the fuel mixture has been stored
for longer than this period, it should be removed and replaced with a fresh
mixture.
