WARNING DANGER
Use only original manufacturer’s parts for replacement, as well as original
accessories and equipment. If you fail to follow this, it may cause injury, bad
performance, and it can also make the Warranty void.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The cutting accessories must not rotate in idle mode. If this condition is not
met, the clutch must be adjusted or the device requires urgent repair in the
authorized service shop.
You can perform adjustments and repairs described in here. Contact the
authorized service shop for other repairs.
The consequences of improper maintenance may include increasing the soot
(carbon) deposits, which results in loss of performance and emptying the oily
residue which drops from the exhaust pipe.
Make sure that all shields, belts, deflectors and handles are properly and safely
mounted in order to avoid the risk of personal injury.
EXHAUST CANAL AND MUFFLER
Depending on the type od fuel used, type and quantity of oil used and/or your
work conditions, the exhaust canal and muffler can get clogged by soot (carbon)
deposits. If you notice loss of power on your engine-powered device, the
authorized service shop must remove these deposits in order to return to
proper performance.
AIR FILTER
The dust accumulated in the air filter will reduce the engine efficiency, increase
fuel consumption and enable abrasive particles to enter the engine. Remove
the air filter as often as necessary in order to keep it clean.
Small layer of dust can be removed by tapping the filter. Larger deposits must
be washed away in appropriate solution.
Remove the filter cover by turning the filter cover button.
