DESCRIPTION
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS included with the device.
Read them before operation and save them for future reference in order to learn
the proper and safe work techniques
1. BLADE - circular blade for application in mowing grass, weeds or bushes. Straps,
plastic shield and U-handles are necessary for working with the blade.
2. DRIVING SHAFT ASSEMBLY - contains a specially designed flexible (bendable)
inner driving shaft.
3. THROTTLE SWITCH - Equipped with a tension spring so that it will return to idle
mode when released. When you are accelerating, press the switch gradually in
order to achieve the best work technique. Do not hold the switch when starting the
engine.
4. START SWITCH - Slide switch located at the top of the throttle switch casing.
Push the switch forward for RUN and pull it back for STOP.
5. SAFETY LOCK (unblock the throttle) - Please push it before accelerating.
6. U-HANDLE - This handle can be adjusted to you for more comfortable operation.
7. STRAP - Accessory which attaches the device to the operator and which is
adjustable in length.
8. AIR FILTER COVER - Contains a replaceable felt element.
9. FUEL TANK CAP
10. FUEL TANK - Contains fuel and fuel filter.
11. FUEL PRIMER BULB - Pressing the fuel primer bulb (7-10 times before starting
the engine) will remove all the air and stagnant fuel from the fuel system and bring
in fresh fuel into the carburetor.
12. CHOKE - Choke control is located at the top of filter cover.
COLD START - Pull the lever up in order to close the choke for cold start Push the
knob down for the RUN (work) position.
13. DEBRIS GUARD SHIELD - It is mounted directly above the mowing accessory. It
helps protect the operator by deflecting the remains (debris) created in the course
of the trimming operation. Do not operate the device without the shield.
14. CUTOFF KNIFE - It cuts off the nylon string (line) to the correct length from the
head to the end of the string when the cutting line head is hit (tapped) on the
ground in the course of feeding the cutting string. If the trimmer is operated
without the cutoff knife, the string line gets too long, the working speed will slow
down the engine and that will overheat or damage the engine.
15. LINE HEAD (CUTTING LINE HEAD) - It contains replaceable cutting string line
which pulls out when the line head is tapped on the ground while rotating at
normal working speed.
