ADJUSTING THE CARBURETOR
NOTE
Do not adjust the carburetor unless it is necessary. If you are having problems with
the carburetor, contact the authorized service shop. Improper adjusting may cause
damage to the engine and make the Warranty void.
FUEL FILTER
The tank is equipped with a filter. The filter
is located at the free end of the fuel pipe
and can be taken out of the spout for
pouring fuel by using a wire bent into a
hook at one end.
Check the fuel filter occasionally. Do not
let dust enter the engine. The clogged filter
will cause difficulty starting the engine and
irregularities in the engine operation.
When the filter is dirty, replace it.
When the inside of the fuel tank is dirty, it
can be cleaned by rinsing the tank with
gasoline.
