Meadow mower agria 5300
3 Devices and Operating Elements
The meadow mower agria 5300 is suit-
able to be used for the maintenance of
green areas and parks as well as in
agriculture and forestry for grass and
meadow mowing and winter service.
When using the machine on public roads
and during transport the national
road traffic regulations of the relevant
country must be complied with (marking,
lighting, etc.).
The implements approved in the Agria
sales list are available.
Engine
The four-stoke petrol engine is to be
used with standard petrol (see chapter
Startup, page 27).
During the first 20 hours of operation
(running-in period) do not use the engine
at full power.
The rule of never using the engine at a
higher speed than necessary for the
work in hand applies even after the
running-in period.
High speeds are detrimental to
all engines and significantly reduce
their service life. This especially ap-
plies for no-load operation! Over-
revving the engine (letting it roar) can
result in immediate damage.
Cooling
The engine is cooled with an air blower.
Keep the fan grille at the cable-pull
starter and the cooling fins of the cylin-
der free of dirt and aspirated plant de-
bris.
Idling
Always ensure that the engine idle
speed is adjusted correctly. With speed
regulating lever at idling, the engine
should continue running smoothly.

Air filter
The air filter cleans the aspirated air. A
contaminated filter reduces the engine
output.
Ignition system
The petrol engine is equipped with a
contactless electronic ignition system.
We recommend that any necessary
inspections are carried out by a skilled
person only.
